The Lego Movie Videogame brings the humor and creative energy of the hit animated film directly to console and PC players. Navigating through its vibrant brick-built worlds becomes even more exciting when you know how to unlock extra characters, special abilities, and bonus items using secret codes. Utilizing these built-in shortcuts allows players to expand their digital roster quickly without grinding through every level repeatedly.
How to Enter Cheat Codes in the Game
Accessing the cheat code system in The Lego Movie Videogame is simple and can be done during standard gameplay. Players can pause the game at any point during a level or while exploring the main hub area to open the main menu. From there, select the Extras menu option and navigate directly to the Enter Code section to input your alphanumeric digits.
Alternatively, players can visit the central hub in Bricksburg and locate the giant red cheat code machine. Interacting with this object opens the same text entry interface, allowing you to type in passwords using your controller or keyboard. Once a code is correctly entered, the unlocked character or perk immediately becomes available in your collection.
Unlocking Extra Characters and Special Outfits
Cheat codes in this title primarily unlock a wide variety of quirky minifigures and alternate costumes for major story characters. For instance, entering specific codes can unlock variants like Emmet in unique outfits or obscure background heroes from the film universe. Having access to diverse characters early on helps immensely when attempting to solve specific environmental puzzles in free play mode.
While many characters can be unlocked naturally by spending collected studs, using cheat codes saves a substantial amount of in-game currency. This allows players to invest their hard-earned studs into essential red brick multipliers instead. Collecting these extra figures enhances the overall variety and enjoyment during replay sessions.
Maximizing Rewards with Red Brick Multipliers
Beyond simple character unlocks, managing your extra options efficiently is the key to completing the game 100 percent. Red bricks serve as permanent modifiers that can boost stud acquisition by massive multipliers, grant invincibility, or highlight hidden collectibles scattered across levels. Combining unlocked characters with activated red brick bonuses creates the ultimate gameplay advantage for dedicated completionists.
It is important to remember that entering cheat codes will not disable achievements or trophies on your gaming platform. This feature is intended by developers as a fun, accessible tool for players of all skill levels to enjoy. Using these codes offers a stress-free way to experience everything the game has to offer at your own preferred pace.
